This was my first time attempting a pet portrait! Honestly, it wasn’t theat hard. Don’t get me wrong, it came with its difficulties as all art does, but my process helps me to minimize the pontential for “happy accidents“. Before I even purchase the canvas or think about putting paint to canvas, I mockup every piece using Procreate on my iPad and having good quality photos of my subject(s) helps a ton!

I enjoyed the entire process of creating this piece, especially getting to personally deliver the piece. It was a pleasure to meet Shorty and Classy. Their dad loves them very much!
